Plus Voice Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; Representative Director: Hiroyuki Miura; hereinafter referred to as our company) has been commissioned by Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative Director: Soichiro Okudaira; hereinafter referred to as Daihatsu). In response, from April 3, 2023, we will start providing the “Daihatsu Sign Language Interpretation Service” for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
In this service, our interpreters accept inquiries from customers who are deaf or hard of hearing, such as questions about Daihatsu vehicles, using sign language or written communication. Currently, efforts are being made to address diversity in various places, such as the promotion of the SDGs and the provision of reasonable accommodation under the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities. This service is also one of the efforts to respond to that diversity, and it is a service that has arrived as a result of a company’s sincere consideration of how to respond to customers who are deaf and hard of hearing. What kind of services does your company provide to customers who are deaf or hard of hearing?
By providing a sign language interpretation service by the company, deaf people will be able to use the customer call center as easily as hearing people. This service is also carried out as one of the efforts to respond to diversity.
In order to meet the needs and expectations of customers who are deaf or hard of hearing, we will imagine the inconvenience from the customer’s point of view and aim to create a society where everyone can obtain information as a matter of course.
