Akio Morisawa
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1969. Graduated from Waseda University. In 2007, he made his debut as a novelist with Umi wo Datta Maridama. Many of his works have been made into films, including Niji no Misaki Coffee Shop, Natsumi’s Firefly, Kiriko’s Promise, Twinkle Twinkle Glasses, and Whispering the Important Things. Other books include “Hikaru no Tamago”, “Emily’s Small Kitchen Knife”, “Delicious and Crying”, “Pukupuku”, and “Five Miracles Created by Books”.
