-overview-
The convergence of the long and painful corona misfortune, which was a big blow to the food and beverage industry. The delivery industry, which has grown rapidly in an environment where it is not possible to go out to eat, is expected to decline due to the convergence of the corona crisis. However, is the delivery business just a delivery agency business that has grown “because we can’t eat out due to the coronavirus”?
The development of the delivery culture has made it possible to satisfy the fundamental human desire to eat freshly prepared and delicious food. This desire is not a feeling born of the corona crisis, but an ancient desire that has not been resolved until now. Now that delivery has made it possible to eat “anytime”, “anywhere”, and “any menu”, humans will not return to inconvenience. It can be said that the delivery market will continue to grow in the future. In order not to lose the future possibilities created by this delivery business, it is necessary to work beyond the boundaries of companies and industries and raise the level of the industry as a whole. This is one of the reasons behind the establishment of the Japan Delivery Association.
The philosophy of the Japan Delivery Association is to realize “customer satisfaction”, “safety and security”, and “market expansion” in the Japanese delivery business together. Based on this philosophy, we will push forward with the following four items as the core of our activities.
1. Systematization of guidelines and rule operation to protect the safety and security of consumers
2. Establishment of QSSC standards for delivery products and systematization of compliance (Q quality, S speed, S service, C cleanliness)
3. Deregulation for delivery market growth, various trials in special administrative zones
4. Global export of Japanese food culture delivery
