Japanese primrose is a perennial plant of the Primula family Primula genus native to Japan, and the scientific name is Primula japonica. It is said that the name was given because the shape of the flowers, which overlaps in several layers, resembles the nine wheels on the roof of a Buddhist temple.
There are also collaborations with birds and insects that sometimes appear in the primrose field, and the children’s photos are already wonderful. The best time to see them is from now until early June. It is also characterized by the fact that the color of the blooming flowers changes depending on the season. Please come to the photogenic area where the winners of the Fuji Kachoen Photo Contest are coming out.
