summary
This time, we conducted an awareness survey on ChatGPT targeting 101 freelance IT engineers who are aware of ChatGPT.
We found that more than 30% of freelance IT engineers are already using ChatGPT in their work, and about half of those who are not currently using it want to use it.
While some companies prohibit the use of chatGPT in their work, it seems that freelance IT engineers who work without belonging to a company are considering using AI in their careers.
On the other hand, more than 30% of freelance IT engineers regard the emergence of ChatGPT as a threat, and it is thought that human resources who can successfully combine their own skills and ChatGPT will be active.
In the future, security and AI accuracy will improve, and it is possible that the concerns about using ChatGPT will be dispelled. Under such circumstances, there is a possibility that the demand for freelance IT engineers who can actively utilize ChatGPT and
efficiently proceed with their work will increase.
Now that the freelance protection law is about to be enacted, not only the degree of freedom in working styles, but also the means of improving work productivity and improving skills can be freely selected, so the work style of freelancing is attracting more and more attention. I think it will improve.
