Japan Cycle League Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) (hereinafter referred to as “JCL”) has released a domestic virtual cycling experience app (*1) “JCL VRoad” on May 18, 2023 (iOS version, Android version, PC version).

(Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka) (hereinafter referred to as “Alinco”), which develops various fitness bikes, and jointly I started planning. The points of this joint project are as follows.
・Three models of fitness bikes provided by Alinco are certified as “JCL VRoad” official bikes
・Collaboration between Alinco and JCL to sell fitness bikes for “JCL VRoad” on EC site
・In the future, we will plan and consider fitness bikes, etc. of the “JCL VRoad” original model.

We use fitness bikes that have already been sold and used, so even those who are not accustomed to riding outdoors can use them with peace of mind. We also see it as a service that can contribute. In addition, since it can be easily installed in the user’s home or place of work, it is possible to start using it easily. “JCL VRoad” allows users to record and experience cycling roads and sightseeing spots all over the country, so users can easily experience sightseeing such as cycle tourism at home, etc., and contribute to improving psychological health.
By allowing local governments and tourist associations to record cycling courses, etc., it can be used to publicize the regional cycle tourism that has been expanding in recent years. It is also a service that can contribute to raising the awareness of surrounding tourism and attracting customers by installing it at local tourist sites and commercial facilities.
The combination of the fitness bike and app provided this time was exhibited at a health promotion event in Tokyo, and more than 100 people experienced cycling around Japan. We plan to hold a trial session with the same combination at the JCL 2023 season race venue. We also plan to provide it to events related to health, ecology, e-sports, etc.
In the future, we will consider planning and selling original models such as “JCL VRoad”, and in light of the increase in users, we will create opportunities such as enjoying virtual cycle races at home using “JCL VRoad”. It is a plan to continue.
JCL will accelerate its bicycle DX initiatives while holding professional road races in various locations and operating the representative team “JCL TEAM UKYO”, which is mainly active overseas. *1 Virtual cycling experience app: An app that allows you to experience cycling courses in various places online using a PC or tablet.
