Kanazawa University established a venture capital from Kanazawa University “Vision Incubate Co., Ltd.” On May 9, 2005, we received certification from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Through the establishment of Vision Incubate Co., Ltd., in the Hokuriku region centering on Kanazawa, we aim to build a system that strongly supports the creation and growth of startups (ventures) that spark innovation in the world using the technology of national universities. Furthermore, we will form networks not only with start-up companies, but also with other universities, industries, local governments, and entrepreneurs, and work on co-creation with society.
In the future, we plan to establish a company after obtaining approval from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology regarding our university’s investment in Vision Incubate Co., Ltd. After that, the business plan of the investment business limited partnership (fund) managed by Vision Incubate Co., Ltd. will be approved by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The first fund will be funded by the university after receiving investment approval from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.In addition, we will recruit limited liability partners (LPs) widely, mainly in the Hokuriku region, and support startups after receiving these investments.・Implement projects such as investment activities.
