Reduce food waste → Prevent global warming by reducing CO2 ・・・ 3 items of efforts not to produce food waste ・・・

Don’t you put out vegetable ends and scraps in the garbage when you cook? When garbage is incinerated, 2051kg of CO2 is emitted per ton! In the Natural Food Cooking Class, I have been seriously thinking about two things: my interest in making and eating delicious vegetable dishes, and my interest in waste that turns into garbage. The value of eating is changing from an era of plentiful food to an era of sustainable food choices that are good for the body and live a long, healthy life. Sustainability means the sustainable development of humans, society, and the global environment, and the incorporation of earth-friendly activities into society and life.
Therefore, at the Natural Food Cooking Class, since last year we have continued to hold small-group seminars on [3 items from the kitchen to “reducing food loss at home”].
★ 1. Dried vegetables (useful in times of disaster)
                       Storage of dried vegetables

[Image 2:×1966.jpg] The way to use up vegetables without waste is to not let them rot in the refrigerator, and to dry them by exposing them to the sun and wind just before they rot.
・2 ways to dry
Outside drying “Drying in the sun outside” Room drying “Drying in the room” ☆Semi-dry: The surface of the vegetables is wrinkled, but the contents are moist. 5-7 hours
☆ Drying: Depending on the vegetables, drying for 4 to 6 hours is repeated for 3 to 5 days.
・Drying tools: Drying net ・Large colander
・Weather and location
For drying outside, choose a well-ventilated place that receives plenty of sunlight.
Even in the house, if you improve the ventilation from the screen door, it will dry.
Depending on the season, use a fan on days when pollen or yellow dust is a concern.
·Preservation method
Put it in a drying net or a small container and hang it on a hanger. Can be refrigerated (7 days) or frozen (30 days) in a zippered plastic bag. ★2. Vegetable Broth
In natural food cooking, the skin is basically left unpeeled, but when the edges or crumbs of the vegetables come out, put them in a plastic bag and store them in the vegetable compartment.
☆Rinse well with water, put water in a pot and boil for about 30 minutes. ☆ When it cools down, prepare a colander and a bowl, transfer the contents, put the delicious vegetable soup in a bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
★ 3. Compost (fertilizer)
☆Put “Hybrid ORG” in a large container and mix it with raw garbage. ☆ Make compost from garbage to enrich the soil that is the basis for plant growth. ☆ After a few months, it becomes a fine fertilizer. →Vegetables and flowers When mixed with the soil, delicious vegetables and fine flowers bloom.

It becomes an important “circulatory effect” and can contribute to “prevention of global warming by reducing CO2”.
13 of the SDGs advocated by the United Nations. Concrete measures against climate change..
Last year, we reported to the United Nations about our activities as a natural food cooking class, and received an email confirming the completion of registration. I received an email this year as well. “UN Environment Program This World Environment Day 2023 June.5” World Environment Day this year
The Netherlands (Netherlands) is the center. By the way, last year it was Sweden.
