Summary of survey results
When we conducted a survey to find out what type of word-of-mouth about sandals people refer to, the number one answer was “comfort.” Others will be introduced in the ranking format.

After 2nd place, it was followed by “difficult to get tired” and “feeling of fit”, and “quality” came in 8th place.
1st place: comfort
・I’m more concerned about whether it’s tight or not painful even if it’s the same size, so I refer to such reviews. (Female in her 30s) ・Because it is important to be able to walk comfortably for a long time. It gives me a sense of security when other people say that they are comfortable to wear. ・We attach great importance to customer reviews regarding comfort when purchasing shoes. Because it’s the most wasteful thing I don’t want to buy. (Female in her 30s)
The first is “comfort”.
Even if the price is cheap and it looks cute, it’s a waste if you can’t wear something that isn’t comfortable to wear.
2nd place: resistance to fatigue
・As you get older, it has become important to wear sandals (including shoes) that are easy to wear and do not cause fatigue. It’s no longer possible to put up with things that are too flimsy to take off or delicate things that dig into your feet for fashion. When I go out, I choose clothes that don’t make me tired even if they look a little unsightly. (Female from 50s)
・The sandals which play an active part in the coming season. I think that the corona wreck will settle down and I will go out more often, so I think that the frequency of use will increase. I think that ease of walking will be very important in such a situation. (Female in her 20s)

The second place was “difficult to get tired”.
Only people who have actually used shoes can tell if their feet won’t get tired even after wearing them for a long time.
3rd place: fit
・It will become blisters that do not fit your feet, and you will take it off immediately. This is because if you feel discomfort while walking, your feet will get tired. (Female from 50s)
・Unlike shoes, sandals do not cover the entire foot when worn. So, if you don’t have a solid fit, when you walk, it will be loose and very difficult to walk. In addition, you will get tired quickly and in the worst case you may injure your feet. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the shoe fits your foot properly. (Female in her 30s) ・If it doesn’t fit your feet, you may feel pain when wearing it or feel uncomfortable wearing it, so the fit is the most important. (Male, 30s)
4th: Size
・If the size doesn’t fit, your fingers will rub and the skin will peel off, so the most important thing is to find the size that fits you! (Male, 30s)
・Because I have bigger and wider feet than other women, and I’m having a hard time finding women’s sandals. (Female in her 40s)
・Even if the design is good, if the size doesn’t match, I won’t wear it. Depending on the manufacturer, the size is different even if it is the same size as usual, so you can refer to how many cm people of the same size bought. (Male, 30s)
4th: Cushioning
・If the sole of sandals is thin, it hurts when walking. I’ll be wearing them barefoot, so I’d like something with a soft cushion inside. (Female in her 30s)
・I want sandals that I can wear for a long time without getting tired. I want to use sandals that go a little closer and sandals that go far away. (Male, 30s)
・Before, I bought sandals just for their cheapness and design, but when I actually tried them on, they were so hard that my feet hurt immediately. (female teenager)
6th: Design
・In many cases, sandals can be worn even if they are slightly different in size, so I refer to word of mouth about the design. (Female in her 40s)
・If I don’t like the design, I won’t buy it, and if I buy sandals that I don’t really like, I think I’ll throw them away without wearing them at all. (female teenager)
– Ease of wear and fit are important, but in the end, I don’t like it if the design isn’t good. I want to wear it in style. (Female in her 30s)
7th: Durability
・Sandals are often worn out in one season, so I often choose tough ones. Therefore, when looking for durable sandals, I refer to reviews. (Female in her 30s)
・Since sandals are worn frequently in the summer and the weather is hot, you will have to replace them immediately if they are not durable, which will cost you more money. to (Male, 20s)
・Even though they are sandals, I want to use them for a long time, so I would appreciate it if I could hear the opinions of people who actually use them and what materials they are made of. (Male in his 40s)
8th: Quality
・If the quality is not good, it will break soon. Recently, eco-leather has become popular, but I prefer genuine leather shoes, so I often check the quality. (Female in her 30s)
・In the past, the material didn’t match my skin, and it rubbed off every time I walked. Therefore, we would like to select a material that does not rub against the skin when worn barefoot. (Male, 20s) “Quality” was the result of 8th place.
There was also an opinion that they would like to refer to reviews to see if the material does not suit them or if they are not going to break soon.
summary
When we conducted a survey of 100 people, 35.0% of the respondents answered that they were “comfortable to wear.”
Also, as a reason for answering, there were many opinions that they could not wear it if it was uncomfortable, so they wanted to refer to whether it would hurt if they wore it for a long time.
There are many people who want to confirm things by word of mouth that they cannot find out by trying them on.
