Autoliv Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Colin Knockton) opened a new Chubu office in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture in September 2023.
For over 35 years since we started our business in Japan, we have been developing, producing, and selling automobile safety parts such as airbags, seat belts, and steering wheels for Japanese automobile manufacturers. We have built a relationship with the company to become its business partner. With the opening of this new office, we will reorganize our bases in line with the bases of our customers, in order to strengthen our ties with our Japanese customers amidst the recent major changes in the mobility industry, including the automobile industry. We aim to expand services in each region of eastern Japan, western Japan, and central Japan. This new office is positioned as an important base for realizing the above strategy. Based on our vision of “Saving More Lives,” we will continue to provide mobility safety solutions, including for automobiles, with the aim of creating a safer mobility society.
