Appliv TOPICS, operated by Nile Co., Ltd. We conducted a survey on Rakuten Market’s big sale “Rakuten Super Sale” on the 18th of March.
■Survey results Appliv TOPICS conducted a survey regarding the Rakuten Super Sale targeting 1,637 men and women aged 20 to 69 through an internet survey service.
62.5% knew about the “Rakuten Super Sale” held from September 4th to 11th. Of those who knew about the event, 49.1% shopped at the Rakuten Super Sale. The most commonly purchased product categories were “daily
necessities” and “groceries.” “Cosmetics/Beauty” and “Clothing” are also popular.
The most amount spent on Rakuten Super Sale was 5,000 to 9,999 yen. 64.7% shopped at 3 or fewer stores. “10 or more stores” accounted for 6.0%. ■Awareness of “Rakuten Super Sale” is approximately 60%

When we asked 1,023 people who knew about the Rakuten Super Sale whether they had shopped there, 49.1% said they had shopped. Approximately half of the respondents shopped at Rakuten Super Sale. ■Daily necessities and foodstuffs were commonly bought at super sales. Cosmetics and clothing were also popular.

We asked 502 people who said they shopped at Rakuten Super Sale what they bought. We asked 502 people who said they had shopped at Rakuten Super Sale how much they spent on Rakuten Super Sale. Of the 487 people excluding those who did not respond, the most common answer was “5,000 to 9,999 yen” at 24.8%. Those who spent less than 10,000 yen accounted for a total of 52.0%, accounting for more than half of the total. The next most popular option was “10,000 to 19,999 yen” at 20.3%.
