necessities” and “groceries.” “Cosmetics/Beauty” and “Clothing” are also popular.

When we asked 1,023 people who knew about the Rakuten Super Sale whether they had shopped there, 49.1% said they had shopped. We asked 502 people who said they shopped at Rakuten Super Sale what they bought. We asked 502 people who said they had shopped at Rakuten Super Sale how much they spent on Rakuten Super Sale. Of the 487 people excluding those who did not respond, the most common answer was “5,000 to 9,999 yen” at 24.8%. Those who spent less than 10,000 yen accounted for a total of 52.0%, accounting for more than half of the total. The next most popular option was “10,000 to 19,999 yen” at 20.3%.
