Capcom Co., Ltd. announced that the company’s ” We would like to inform you that “Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak” received the “Grand Prize” in the annual work category, “Resident Evil RE:4” received the “Excellence Award,” and “Dragon’s Dogma 2” was selected in the Future Category.
“Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak,” which won the “Grand Prize” in the annual work category, is a super-large paid expansion content for “Monster Hunter Rise.” As a result of high praise for the game’s content, which includes new fields, monsters, and never-before-seen action, it has sold 6.1 million copies*1 worldwide. We will continue to take strategic pricing measures with the aim of achieving long-term sales.
Additionally, “Resident Evil RE:4,” which won the “Excellence Award,” is a remake title based on “Resident Evil 4,” which was released in 2005. The fresh play experience, which has been
reconstructed with the original charm in mind, has received high praise from new and old users, and has sold 5 million copies*2 worldwide. In addition to releasing the additional story DLC “Separate Ways” on September 21st, we also plan to release the free DLC “Resident Evil RE:4 VR Mode,” which allows you to enjoy the entire story mode of this work on PlayStation (R) VR2.
