“Welcome to the Komada Distillery” is the latest animated theatrical version of P.A. WORKS’ “Work Series,” which will be released nationwide from November 10, 2023 (Friday). The story is about Japanese whisky, which is attracting attention around the world, about a young female president who struggles to revive a distillery that is on the brink, and a novice editor with no dreams or motivation, who aims to revive the “phantom whiskey” that connects family ties. will appear.

The latest work in the “Work Series” by P.A. WORKS, which depicts characters who struggle every day with the theme of “work,” is set in a Japanese whiskey distillery that is attracting attention around the world!
Rui Komada, a young female president who took over her family’s Komada Distillery after her father passed away, rebuilds the struggling distillery while dealing with her torn apart family and the effects of the disaster. He was working hard every day to revive the phantom whiskey “KOMA”, which can be called “family ties”, which can no longer be manufactured in Japan.
Then Kotaro Takahashi, a reporter for a news site who has been changing jobs without finding what he wants to do, comes to cover the story.
