NFT technology is attracting attention as a digital asset, but blockchain fees will also be correspondingly large for large-scale NFT collections. Therefore, a new method of creating NFTs called Compressed NFTs (cNFTs) was developed. Skeet incorporates technology from two of Solana’s signature protocols, Metaplex and Helius.
Metaplex is Solana’s NFT protocol and has established token standards. We provide umi, a framework for handling NFTs and Solana transactions, as well as a tool called Bubblegum for issuing cNFTs.
Helius provides Solana’s high-performance RPC and the Digital Asset Standard (DAS) API required to use cNFTs.
