What is “Decarbonization School”?
Although many local governments have made “zero carbon declarations by 2050” and have put in place action plans to combat global warming, it is still unclear what specific means they will use to achieve decarbonization. It’s a difficult situation.
Efforts to decarbonize should not be something that someone tells us to do, but should be a shared goal for society as a whole. In addition, decarbonization efforts will reduce energy costs for local communities and lead to the development of new industries.
In this course, you will learn about the various initiatives and ideas of advanced local governments, and aim to learn concrete methods that can be put into practice in each local government. Courses consist of lectures, discussions, and planning, delivered by instructors who can provide practical advice.
