The activities of the SDGs are to translate big global goals into familiar issues and actively do what we can. To use what we have made with care, to reduce waste, to protect production areas, to protect culture, to innovate and continue industry, to provide technology and skills that enable women to continue working with purpose in life. The goals of the SDGs include achieving the same goals and eliminating gender inequality. Kimono is not only beautiful, but it is also a costume that has been passed down and worn from generation to generation. This is Japanese culture, including the technology and wisdom that supports it. Even before the world advocated SDGs, Japanese culture itself was sustainable. Ichiru not only teaches kimonos and the techniques of how to wear them, but also teaches more people about sustainable Japanese culture through kimonos, and engages in SDGs activities that will connect to the future.
