When asked in Q1, “What happened to your child’s English skills as a result of attending an English conversation school or cram school?”, the answer was “In Hiroshima Prefecture, you did not feel that your child’s English skills had clearly improved as a result of attending an English conversation school or cram school.” I found out that there are a certain number of people who feel this way. Specifically, 11.4% to 18.0% of people felt that they had “improved” in their English speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills, while those who felt that they had “improved not much” or “didn’t improve at all.” The total number of respondents was 14.7% to 22.4%. In particular, for “English speaking ability” and “English writing ability,” the total percentage of respondents who said “I did not improve much” and “I did not improve at all” was 21.7% and 22.4%, respectively. In addition, if we include those who answered “neutral” regarding each skill, the percentage ranged from 37.1% to 49.6%, indicating that there are a certain number of people who do not feel any clear effects.

When we asked in Q2, “Please tell us your impression of English classes at schools and cram schools.”, we found that many people in Hiroshima Prefecture do not feel that classes at schools and English cram schools are fully effective. For each item, less than 17% answered “I strongly agree,” and only 5.5% answered “I can improve my English speaking ability (I can speak with native pronunciation).” In addition, only a limited number of people felt that “English preparation can be tailored to each individual’s level” and “the teacher’s English level is high”, with only 7.0% and 8.1% saying “Strongly agree”, respectively. These results suggest that there may be challenges in providing instruction tailored to the level of English classes and individual students. Furthermore, the percentage of people who answered “Neither”, “I don’t really agree”, or “I don’t agree at all” was 39.0% to 60.7% for each item, meaning those who did not have a clear effect or a good impression. It can be confirmed that there are many
■The top two areas of interest in the Cambridge program are

(Multiple answers possible)”, Hiroshima Prefecture The most popular response was “Class formation according to the students’ English proficiency level” with 90 students. Next, 82 people were interested in “a program aimed at developing international standard English proficiency,” and 61 people were interested in “four times a week with a native instructor and once a week personal training with a Japanese trainer.” I am. On the other hand, there were slightly fewer people who were interested in “completely online classes” and “can be used for home school or after school,” with 32 and 25 respondents, respectively. These results indicate that many people place importance on developing practical English skills and providing instruction tailored to individual needs.
■Approximately 80% of people answered that they would like to attend or are interested in attending a school that combines the
characteristics of Q3.

I am. Additionally, 34.6% said they were interested. We can see that many people are showing a certain interest in schools with these characteristics.
■85.5% answered that a fee of less than 30,000 yen would be

For those who answered “I want to take the course,” “I want to take the course if the price is low,” or “I’m interested” in Q4, they were asked in Q5, “I think it would be okay to take the English education service provided in Q4, up to the monthly cost.” When asked, 75.2% of respondents felt that less than 20,000 yen was appropriate. 10.3% answered between 20,000 yen and less than 30,000 yen, and 6.2% answered between 30,000 yen and less than 40,000 yen. In contrast, only a small number of respondents considered expenses of 40,000 yen or more, with 0.7% spending 40,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen, and 2.1% spending 50,000 yen or more. As a result, it became clear that many people in Hiroshima Prefecture wanted a price range of less than 30,000 yen.
Although it varies depending on the course content and the quality of the instructor, the average price for English conversation schools is around 2,000 yen to 6,000 yen per lesson, and the monthly fee is around 8,000 yen to 24,000 yen, so this is a reasonable result. I can say it.
However, the number of lessons and the length of each lesson vary depending on the English conversation school, so it is important to check not only the monthly fee, but also how much the tuition fee is per hour.
This time, we conducted a survey of 272 men and women in Hiroshima Prefecture whose children attend or have attended English conversation schools or English cram schools regarding the effects of English conversation schools or English cram schools.
In Q1 and Q2, we found that there are a certain number of people whose children attended English conversation schools or English cram schools, but they did not feel the effect of improving their English skills, and that there were clear effects and positive impressions of English classes at schools and cram schools. It has become clear that many people do not have it.
In Q3 and Q4, about 80% of people answered that they were interested in or would like to take the “Cambridge program where you can acquire real English skills (4 English skills)” I realized that I am interested in training skills and providing guidance tailored to individual needs. Furthermore, in Q5, we found that 85.5% of people would like to take the course for less than 30,000 yen.
