When asked in Q1, “What happened to your child’s English skills as a result of attending an English conversation school or cram school?”, the answer was “In Wakayama Prefecture, you did not feel that your child’s English skills had clearly improved as a result of attending an English conversation school or cram school.” I found out that there are a certain number of people who feel this way. Specifically, approximately 19% to 26% of people felt that they had improved in their English speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills, while others said they had not improved much or had not improved at all. The total number of people who answered this was about 14% to 19%. In particular, for “English speaking ability” and “English writing ability,” the total percentage of respondents who said “I did not improve much” and “I did not improve at all” was 19.2% and 18.6%, respectively. In addition, if we include those who answered
“neutral” regarding each skill, the percentage was approximately 35% to 45%, indicating that there are a certain number of people who do not feel any clear effects.
■Approximately 37-58% of people do not feel that English classes at school or cram school are effective.

When we asked the question in Q2, “Please tell us your impression of English classes at schools and cram schools.”, we found that many people in Wakayama Prefecture do not feel that classes at schools and English cram schools are fully effective. For each item, less than 18% answered “I strongly agree,” and only 12.0% answered “My English speaking ability will improve (I can speak with native
pronunciation).” In addition, only a limited number of people felt that their English writing ability would improve, that they would be able to take English measures tailored to their individual level, and that their teachers’ English level was high, with only 14.4% saying they “strongly agree.” Masu. These results suggest that there may be challenges in developing practical English skills and in providing instruction tailored to each student. Furthermore, the percentage of people who answered “Neither”, “I don’t really agree”, or “I don’t agree at all” was about 37% to 58% for each item, meaning those who did not have a clear effect or a good impression. It can be confirmed that there are many
■The top two areas of interest in the Cambridge program are

When asked in Q3, “Which of the following services are you interested in regarding the Cambridge program where you can acquire real English skills (4 English skills)? (Multiple answers possible)”, Wakayama Prefecture The most popular option was “programs aimed at developing international standard English proficiency,” with 61 people. Next, 54 people were interested in “organizing classes according to students’ English proficiency level,” and 30 people were interested in “4 times a week with a native instructor and once a week personal training with a Japanese trainer.” On the other hand, there were slightly fewer people who were interested in “fully online classes” and “the ability to take classes as an international school,” with 15 and 16 respondents, respectively. These results indicate that many people place importance on developing practical English skills and providing instruction tailored to individual needs.
■Approximately 80% of people answered that they would like to attend or are interested in attending a school that combines the
characteristics of Q3.

When asked in Q4, “If there was a school that had all the features mentioned in Q3, would you be interested?” in Wakayama Prefecture, 14.7% said they would like to attend the school, and 32.1% would take it if the price was reasonable. I am. Additionally, 31.2% said they were interested. We can see that many people are showing a certain interest in schools with these characteristics.
■92.9% answered that the appropriate fee for a school that combines the features of Q3 is less than 30,000 yen
[Image 6: https://prtimes.jp/i/107104/17/resize/d107104-17-85805626523fa4b99abc-0.png&s3=107104-17-1f90df5b664307ea69effa595d354cfc-781×463.png ]

For those who answered “I want to take the course,” “I want to take the course if the price is low,” or “I’m interested” in Q4, they were asked in Q5, “I think it would be okay to take the English education service provided in Q4, up to the monthly cost.” When asked, 75.3% of respondents felt that less than 20,000 yen was appropriate. 17.6% answered 20,000 yen or more but less than 30,000 yen, and 1.2% answered 30,000 yen or more but less than 40,000 yen. In contrast, only a small number of respondents considered expenses of 40,000 yen or more: 1.2% said they would spend more than 40,000 yen but less than 50,000 yen, and 0.0% said more than 50,000 yen. As a result, it became clear that many people in Wakayama Prefecture wanted a price range of less than 30,000 yen.
Although it varies depending on the course content and the quality of the instructor, the average price for English conversation schools is around 2,000 yen to 6,000 yen per lesson, and the monthly fee is around 8,000 yen to 24,000 yen, so this is a reasonable result. I can say it.
However, the number of lessons and the length of each lesson vary depending on the English conversation school, so it is important to check not only the monthly fee, but also how much the tuition fee is per hour.
