Together with Masako Sekito and Tetsuya Sekito, a theater unit based in his hometown of Nagoya, Kuchu Kokuchi, he creates stories based on real life and short stories of “What if it was like this?” The performance is filled with Toda’s charm and a celebratory feel. Prior to the first day, Keiko Toda, Masako Oguri (Kuuchu Kuchi), and Tetsuya Sekito (Kuuchu Kuchi) interviewed and rehearsed. When asked about his enthusiasm, Toda said, “As the title suggests, it’s my 66th
anniversary. Up until now, I’ve been doing live stages in good years, but this time I decided to try something a little different. I borrowed the power of a theater unit in Nagoya.I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has been supporting me on a daily basis.Although the performance is only for three days, the performance on the night of the second day will be streamed. Thank you very much for your support.” Kuchu Kuchi’s Sekito, who also handles the script and direction, confidently said, “It’s a short story that condenses various aspects of Toda. Guri enthusiastically said, “I never dreamed that I would be able to work with Mr. Toda, and I doubted that it was a new surprise. I will do my best so that everyone can enjoy it.” Regarding this project, Toda said, “About four years ago, there was a short story contest, and I was the judge. Furthermore, since we are both from Nagoya, I would like to do it together.I think that many of the people who come to this performance will like me, so I will deliver something that you don’t usually see, full of Nagoya feeling. “I’ll do it,” he says. This means that the Nagoya dialect will be used abundantly throughout the film.
When asked about his impressions of the practice, Sekito said, “It’s been a great learning experience because I’m trying to show as many audiences as possible how I can express myself properly. Talking about it, Oguri also said, “Even though you’re a big star, you really care about each and every staff member. We’re from Nagoya, so it must be hard for us to commute from outside our home. You were so considerate of me!” he said with a nod. Additionally, Toda has basically held anniversaries every five years. This year, he wanted to make it an event to look back on the journey of life, in honor of Route 66, which crosses the American continent. When asked how he feels looking back on his life, he says, “As you can see, most of it is complaining (lol),” but he also says with deep emotion, “I think I’ve done a good job.” When asked about turning points in his life, he answered, “First of all, I was scouted by a TV station in Nagoya when I went to Tokyo.I started working as a voice actor when I joined a theater company and met Nachi Nozawa. At the age of 30, I met Takashi Yanase. When I was 40 years old, I met Koki Mitani and started appearing in TV dramas. Every 10 years, various people reached out to me, and I was able to move along successfully.” Sekito, who made a short story about half of his life, said, “I respect the fact that you’ve always been so powerful and energetic. In the sense of running through life, you’ve been running a lot in your plays,” and Oguri said, “Every 10 years… You said that you met Mr. Toda, and I felt that it was because of Mr. Toda’s personality.I want to learn from Mr. Toda’s attitude of caring for people.” In connection with his hometown, Toda was asked which type of the Three Heroes he was, and Sekito answered, “Nobunaga, huh? He’s sharp and energetic, and I’ve heard that when you get to know him, he can be a little scary (lol).” “I have an image of Ieyasu, right? Someone who goes along with the flow of life,” he answered. Toda himself answered, “Regardless of whether they are similar or not, I like Nobunaga the most.”
At the end, Toda said, “This is a performance to commemorate my 66th birthday.I wanted everyone to see a side of me that I don’t get to show on stage, so three short stories and a video were submitted by people from all over the world.” Thank you very much for your kind words.I think it’s worth seeing just for that reason, so please go to the theater!”, he concluded. Next, we will deliver information about GenePro. The performance is made up of four short stories,
congratulatory messages and videos from various people, and allows you to learn about Toda’s life and friendships, as well as enjoy singing and comedienne performances.

The short story titled “Rock’n’Roll (66) My Life” is divided into two parts, giving a digest of his childhood and relationship with his family. Toda looks back on his life at breakneck speed, picking out memorable scenes from the many works he has appeared in thus far. You’ll laugh as she talks about her daily life with a lot of humor, sometimes with self-deprecation, and you’ll be able to appreciate Toda’s charm anew and get excited about her future.
In addition, each short story includes “I Want to Go to Prom!,” which has an interesting gap between cute retro costumes and crisp Nagoya dialect, and “My Diva,” in which she dresses up as a dull event staff member and gives a talk and singing performance with guests. It changes the atmosphere and shows off Toda’s many drawers in a short time. Go Ueki, Sayaka Aoki, Yasufumi Terawaki, and Koichi Yamadera appear as guests in each episode. Ueki, who was a guest on the 8th, appeared on GenePro and showed a dance performance and an episode with Toda.

The atmosphere is free and peaceful, with manzai-like exchanges, celebrations, cooking, and musical
performances. It serves as a link to the collection of short stories, and at the same time serves as a corner that conveys Toda’s
personality and his relationships with the people he interacts with. It has become. This work will be performed at CBGK Shibugeki!! from September 8th (Friday) to 10th (Sunday).
