October 7th-9th, 2023 Potato & BBQ festival at “kadode Oigawa” in Shimada City! Announcement of store opening!
Many BBQ restaurants will open, including stores that won the National Yakiimo Grand Prix

The potato festival, which is becoming an annual tradition, will once again bring together popular roasted sweet potato shops from not only Shizuoka prefecture but also from all over the country at KADODE Oigawa! More than 55 stores including many famous stores that won the Yakitori Grand Prix! The stores will change from October 7th to 9th, so you can enjoy the event even if you visit for three days. This time it’s called BBQ, so you can expect to enjoy a lot of charcoal-grilled dishes.

Just like last time, many Yakiniku Grand Prix award-winning stores and famous stores from all over Japan are scheduled to open their stores, so you can enjoy yakiimo sweets in Shimada City once again.
Also, as the name BBQ Fest suggests, there will be restaurants related to BBQ, including skewers, so those who want to taste meat will be satisfied.
Mr. Sada of the executive committee said, “This time we want to have an eat-in space so that you can enjoy it even more.The
rock-paper-scissors competition that was popular last time will be held again this time.Our Iida is a new product of sweet potato and garlic shrimp, which is related to BBQ. We will be offering freshly prepared rice cakes, etc., so please look forward to it.”
The event summary is as follows. “Like last time, we have secured more parking spaces than usual, so we look forward to seeing as many people as possible.”
