This innovative project was developed by OusiaDAO (based in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, founder: Shuto Oba) and SHINeON (based in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, represented by Haruki Minami and Heiwa Torii), which operates a cram school business in Toyama. What is Metakura?
As the name suggests, “Metakura” is an abbreviation for a project that encourages creative learning and idea sharing within the Metaverse.
The theme is “Create your ideal school ~The most exciting school in your hands~”.
Participants will form teams of five and, through repeated discussions within the Metaverse, will create a completely new type of ideal school.

Metakura is a place where young people who are passionate about the future of education are shown new possibilities through the Metaverse. A total of five events, held every Monday from 18:30 to 20:30 during October, will provide participants with the perfect opportunity to explore the intersection of education and technology. On the final day, a grand awards ceremony will be held to recognize the teams that have created the most attractive schools.
