“NearMe” is a taxi sharing service that connects people door-to-door from their departure point to their destination using optimal routing using proprietary AI. Among these, the airport shuttle service, which connects airports and surrounding urban areas, has been used by more than 500,000 people since its launch in August 2019. Currently, there are 14 airports nationwide*1 (Narita International, Chubu

We started in the MaaS area of the sharing economy, aiming to become an “instant matching” platform that contributes to regional
revitalization by utilizing real-time location information. We have been operating an airport shuttle service since August 2019, developing our own AI and developing routing optimization technology. Utilizing this technology, we are developing ride-sharing services around town that can be used by a small number of people and in a way that allows us to track who is riding, rather than an unspecified number of people. In April 2023, Near Me was featured in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “100 Startups with a Track Record of Collaboration with the Government,” which introduces case studies focusing on companies with a track record of collaboration with the government.
