NPO Parent Education Network
I would like to compile the “Parenting White Paper 2024” to convey the importance of “parental upbringing” to the world by compiling the questionnaire survey “listening to the voices that parents (adults) want to hear.”
Crowdfunding challenge starts on Readyfor from 10:00 on Monday, September 18th! ……
Please let us hear your “voices that you want to convey to parents (adults)”. We are organizing our second crowdfunding campaign on Readyfor with the goal of compiling the voices we have gathered and publishing the “Parenting White Paper 2024” in April next year to communicate the importance of “parental upbringing” to the world. I’ll take the challenge. Starts at 10:00 on Monday, September 18th. We appreciate your cooperation.
Readyfor site https://readyfor.jp/projects/oyaiku-hakusho2024 The NPO Parent Education Network aims to provide parents and adults involved with children with the values of a new era, as well as knowledge and information regarding child rearing. Through the creation of a network that connects individuals and organizations engaged in parenting, Create a society full of people who accept each other and live with a sense of happiness by making society aware of the significance and necessity of “parental education” and by expanding the scope of childcare support, including home education. It has been eight years since our establishment in 2015 with the aim of I am filled with gratitude because I have been able to advance my activities this far because of the support of many people.

Now, there are many people in society who are worried about raising children, and among them there are many problems such as child abuse. This is thought to be due to changes in the social environment in recent years, such as the shift to nuclear families, isolation in the community, lack of people and places to talk to, and unresolved psychological issues among parents. Through our activities, we have received many comments such as “Parents need to change first” and “Parenting is important.” Many people intuitively feel the significance and necessity of “parenting,” but the reality is that it cannot be quantified in a numerical form. Until now, we have been holding classes on child-rearing and creating opportunities for parents and children to learn together once a month under the title “Children’s Power (R) Seminar.” However, in order to make society more aware of the significance and necessity of “parental education”, we believe that it is necessary to quantify and disseminate this information, so we conducted a survey mainly among parents. In order to create a “Parenting White Paper” that summarizes the results, we took up the challenge of crowdfunding with Readyfor for the first time in 2021, quickly achieved the target amount, and received support that exceeded the target. This white paper will be sent to the departments in charge of lifelong learning and child-rearing support in each municipality in Aichi Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, and Tokyo, where regular members of our corporation are enrolled, and we will also pass it on to the Cabinet Office. Ta. I also had the opportunity to use this white paper to directly communicate the importance of “parental education” to people involved in education and welfare.

In the process of preparing the previous white paper, we felt the need to listen to the voices of children who are directly involved with their parents. In addition, in April of this year, the Children and Family Affairs Agency was established, and the children’s There is a trend towards incorporating the voices of children and young people, and in order to collect the opinions of a wider range of generations, including children, we made sure to include the opinions of children and young people when considering survey items.
