Survey results summary
When we conducted a survey to find out what kind of reviews about hoodies people take into account, the number one answer was “comfort.” We will also introduce other items in ranking format.

The second and subsequent rankings were “design” and “difficulty in pilling,” followed by “price,” which came in 8th place.
1st place: Comfort
・I think that the larger the hoodie, the more comfortable it will be, but the comfort will also vary depending on the fabric and shape. In particular, whether the inside is lined or not will affect when you can wear it, and the texture will also be different, so I make sure to check carefully. (Male in his 20s)
・I always choose parkas based on ease of wear. I feel that it would be even better if it was made with something that doesn’t pill easily and is cheap. (Female in her 20s)
・I’m concerned about how comfortable the hoodie is to wear, such as the weight of the hat and the opening around the neck. I can’t tell just by looking at the product photos, so I’d like to know how comfortable the product is from the reviews. (Female in her 50s and up)

・Even if I was looking for a hoodie, if I didn’t like the design, it wouldn’t catch my eye and I wouldn’t pick it up. If you don’t like the design, you won’t end up purchasing it. 3rd place: Difficulty in forming pilling
– Comfort and quality are important for a hoodie, but pilling can cause problems, so I would like to refer to reviews about how difficult it is to pill. (Female in her 50s and up)
・If the clothes tend to pill, it will look worn out and not look good. I think this is an important item because it is better to wear it for a long time. (Male in his 30s)
・There are many cases where even if you purchase a product, it will pill and it becomes a pain to remove it and you end up not wearing it anymore, so the ease with which pilling occurs and how hard it occurs is something to keep in mind when making a purchase. (Female in her 40s)
4th place: Size
・Because I have a small body, no matter what I wear, it ends up being oversized and makes me look sloppy, so I want to make sure that there is a size that fits me. (Female in her 30s)
・We place particular importance on size. I want it to cover my body shape, so I choose a large, slightly oversized one. (Male over 50s) ・For me, size is important when it comes to hoodies, and the impression can change quite a bit depending on the size. (Female in her 30s)
5th place: Quality
・It is not possible to judge the ease of fading or color fading just by looking at the photo of the product, so it is very helpful to see reviews about the quality. (Female in her 30s)
・If the quality is good, I think you can wear it for a long time. Also, it’s more economical and easier on your wallet. (Female in her 40s)
・If you only look at the image, you won’t be able to tell how thick the fabric is, how it feels, and how comfortable it is to wear, so I refer to reviews to find out whether the quality is good or bad. (Female in her 40s)
6th place: Durability
・I think durability includes everything from comfort to wear, quality of the fabric that I think is good, and ease of washing, so I focus on durability. (Female in her 30s)
・I’m not someone who buys new clothes that often, and I like to wear them for many seasons, so when it comes to clothes, durability is more important than design. (Male in his 40s)
・Since I want to wear it over and over again, I wanted a hoodie that was durable and wouldn’t get loose even after washing. I would also like to know about this and any color recommendations. (Male in his 30s)
7th place: Ease of washing
・No matter how good the design is or how comfortable it is to wear, I have to wash it every time I wear it, so I’m really concerned about how to wash it. (Female in her 30s)
– If the fabric is too thick, even if you can wash it in the washing machine, it will have a hard time drying. (Female in her 30s) – Parkas are bulky and dry in the washing machine, so I’m worried about whether they can be washed properly, and the hood part is particularly hard to dry when I hang them to dry, so I look at how easy they are to wash and how easy they are to dry. (Female in her 50s and above)
8th place: Price
・Even if the design is good, the high price makes it difficult to buy. Even if the design doesn’t suit your tastes, you can compromise and buy it if the price is affordable. (Female in her 20s)
・I’m concerned about comfort and pilling, but I don’t want it to be too expensive, so I want to choose something that fits my budget. (Male over 50s)
“Price” came in 8th place.
Some people chose a product based on whether it was not too expensive and could be purchased within their budget.
summary
When we surveyed 100 people, 34.0% of them answered that it was “comfortable”. Many respondents also said that they wouldn’t wear it if it wasn’t comfortable, and that hoodies are attractive because they’re easy to wear.
Parkas are popular because they are easy to wear, and it can be seen that many people place importance on comfort.
