“Reiwa 5th Smart Life Project” Health Promotion Spread Month Event “Aim for it! Regional competition! Let’s all do a walking challenge! Team to enliven western Japan”
Korokoro Chiki Chiki Peppers was held with Nadal and Soto Nishino invited. ……
As part of its Smart Life Project, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is conducting research on the characteristics of
lifestyle-related diseases such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, as well as the importance of improving individual lifestyle habits such as exercise and diet. In order to deepen the understanding of each citizen and promote the practice of health promotion, the month from September 1st to 30th of each year is designated as “Health Promotion Month,” and we conduct awareness-raising activities related to health promotion.
In order to promote health-promoting practices, special web content “Aim for it! Regional competition! Walking challenge together!” was released on August 21st (Monday).
By providing an opportunity for a wide range of people to practice the theme of “walking” as a specific action in the field of exercise, we will raise awareness of healthy life expectancy and the joy of walking to improve health. The aim is to help prevent lifestyle-related diseases by encouraging citizens to make behavioral changes on their own.
To coincide with the start of this “Aim for the top! Regional competition! Everyone walking challenge!” comedy duo “Korokoro Chiki Chiki” will be performing at a special venue in Aeon Mall Hiroshima Fuchu (Aki District, Hiroshima Prefecture) on Monday, September 18th (holiday). We held an event inviting Mr. Nadal and Soto Nishino of “Peppers”.

At the event, after talking about their own health and exercise habits in a talk session, we held an event where customers walked together through the mall and took commemorative photos at a photo booth. Many customers gathered at the venue and were able to raise awareness about healthy habits.
“Aim for the top! Regional competition! Walking challenge for everyone!” is being held until September 30th. Please participate from the special page below.
