We will be holding a “zazen experience” and “sermon/quiz stage” in connection with Sojiji Temple via online broadcast.

(https://www.tfm.co.jp /sekaizen/)” (JFN36 station net) corner will also be broadcast on the third Monday of every month. Please enjoy it! The core of his teachings is zazen, and Zen Master Keizan spread his teachings throughout the country.
We try to satisfy our hearts by obtaining something wonderful that we don’t have.
In Zen, we value what lies beneath our feet. Many Zen monks have said in various ways that even if you look for something wonderful outside of yourself, you will not find true peace. Cross your legs and put your hands together. Eyes, ears, mouth, inhale and exhale. Treat “I” with sincerity and become one. The basis of the “Soto Zen teachings” that Zen Master Keizan spread throughout Japan lies in such zazen. Modern society is overflowing with a lot of information, and even if you have a detailed map filled with useful information, you can get lost without a “current location” sign pointing to “below your feet.” It is wonderful to follow various meditation methods and methods, but in this special year that only happens once every 50 years, I would like as many people as possible to experience “Zazen that follows me”.

Currently, there are approximately 15,000 temples and 12 million believers*2 nationwide. Because it is based on the teachings of zazen, the basis of training is the practice of zazen, but training is not only about zazen, but also about continuing to practice every moment of daily life carefully, with a heart of gratitude and joy. I’m capturing it. Living our daily lives
consciously and finding joy in each other’s lives is the way of life that the Soto sect aims for. *2: People who follow Buddhism and protect temples and religious organizations.

earthquakes. The teachings of Zen Master Keizan, who saved many people regardless of their social status or gender during difficult times, have been passed down without fading as a crutch for our hearts as we live in modern times.
This time, on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Soto sect’s main temple, Sojiji Temple, many people will be able to feel closer to the thoughts and teachings contained in the “Konoha” created by Zen Master Keizan. We are carrying out various initiatives based on the theme of “Sojo ~ Can you hear the sound of great footsteps?”
