“Rada Rice Terrace Festival 2023” will be held on October 14th (Saturday) and 15th (Sunday) at the reclaimed rice terraces. A traditional tug-of-war competition will also be held, and the winning team will receive 100 kg of terraced rice.

To convey the current state of rice terraces that are lost due to lack of people who take care of them, and the splendor of beautiful rice terraces.
“Rada Rice Terrace Festival 2023” will be held on October 14th (Saturday) and 15th (Sunday) at the reclaimed rice terraces. What has been held since 2011 as Tanada de Concert
It has been held as a festival since 2016, and this year is the 8th year. From 2022, we will work with Okayama rice terrace organizations, regional revitalization organizations (local merchants), and Shimoyans as shown below.
The rice terraces have been regenerated and the event is held at the site.

[Contents] An event to get people to know about the beautiful rice terraces, held with the desire to pass on the beautiful rice terraces to the children of the future. The rice terraces nurture living things and plants, and above all, rice is the crystallization of life, so we will work on the theme of “family” with the hope that people will participate with their families and connect it to their daily lives. In the regenerated rice terraces, we will enjoy delicious food from the rice terraces, enjoy music, and have a tug-of-war to deepen our feelings and connections.
On the 14th,
Experience harvesting edamame soybeans and Makomodake mushrooms, cooking training with Mr. Tsujimoto invited from Hokkaido, and experience making outlines
In the evening, there will also be a talk and networking session about rice terraces by Mr. Kawakami, who has restored 100 rice terraces in Toyama Prefecture.
