NetJets becomes first and launch customer for Cessna Citation Ascend WICHITA, Kan. (September 20, 2023) – Today, Textron Aviation Inc. (Textron Aviation) and NetJets® (hereinafter NetJets) announced the addition of Cessna Citation business jets over the next 15 years. As a result, we signed option agreements to purchase 1,500 aircraft, a new record. This agreement will add the Cessna Citation Ascend, Latitude and Longitude to NetJets’ existing fleet, increasing the number of aircraft each year. Equally noteworthy, NetJets is the launch customer for Textron Aviation’s newest jet, the Citation Ascend. Delivery of the Citation Ascend aircraft is scheduled for early 2025, and the aircraft, which is currently under development, is targeted to begin operation from this year.
