As you pass through the passage next to the liquor store, you’ll find Tachinomi Tanaka, a popular standing bar with long lines. Seasonal vegetable ohitashi, exquisite potato salad, chicken liver simmered in mustard cream, sujikon, etc. Each one has its own ingenuity, such as using fish sauce as a secret ingredient or combining two types of balsamic vinegar, and the strong flavor is a perfect match for sake.
