What is Tweed Run?
Tweed Run is an event that started in London in 2009. The idea is to wear tweed items, ride your favorite bike (bicycle), and have fun riding around town with your friends. Tweed Run, a “fashion x bicycle” event that attracts attention from all over the world, will be held in the Bishu area, a famous tweed production area. It has been decided that “The Tweed Run Bishu・Gifu 2023” will be held, a fashion and bicycle event that will promote Bishu, which has developed from ancient times as Japan’s number one wool production area, blessed with the abundant water and natural environment of the Kiso River. ! This year we will run through Gifu city! If you follow the traffic rules, bicycles are safe, convenient, and eco -friendly vehicles. Tweed Run Bishy・Gifu2023 is an event where many people can rediscover the charm of bicycles and experience the joy of riding around town. The dress code is, of course, tweed. Participate in your original tweed fashion by incorporating tweed, a classic autumn/winter material, into jackets, pants, or accessories!

・Tea party
After the ride, we parked our bikes and headed to the venue where the Best Dressed Award Ceremony would be held. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with fashion lovers and fellow riders while having a snack. ・Fashion show
The Bishu area, which straddles Nagoya and Gifu, is famous for producing world-class tweed. A fashion show will be held featuring students dressed in tweed fashion.
