Trias and Kyushu Sangyo University plan the “Local Contribution SDGs Project”. Holding a used clothes collection event
Trias and Kyushu Sangyo University collaborated with Arigatou Service Co., Ltd. and the Japan Upcycling Association to plan a participatory community contribution project aimed at realizing a recycling-oriented society.
……
Trias, a commercial facility located in Hisayama-cho, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, has teamed up with re:youth, a student team from Kyushu Sangyo University in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, to reuse used clothing. We will be holding a clothing collection event. The collected clothes will be sorted by the student team and Arigatou Service Co., Ltd. and will be sold to students at the Kyushu Sangyo University school festival flea market, which will be held at Kyushu Sangyo University on November 3rd (Friday), November 4th (Saturday), and November 5th (Sunday). The team will sell it. All proceeds from sales at the flea market will be donated to the Childcare Support Section of the Hisayama Town Welfare Division for use in projects related to children. In addition, the excess clothing collected at the event (more than the student team can handle) will be purchased by Arigatou Service Co., Ltd., and the entire purchase price will be donated to the Childcare Support Section of the Hisayama Town Welfare Division.
