“eas” is a service that uses a combination of AI-OCR and the human power of crowd workers to read and convert all kinds of documents and forms into data with high precision and speed. Up until now, I have been responsible for data creation, confirmation, and correction for a wide range of industries, including application forms, order forms, invoices, and questionnaires.
In recent years, there has been a movement in various industries to promote the introduction of DX with the aim of improving productivity and operational efficiency. Particularly in back-office operations, many companies are increasingly using SaaS to systemize attendance management.
However, in the temporary staffing industry, it is necessary to match attendance management to the management method of the dispatch company, and companies that provide staffing companies have to use data to match the attendance information shared by the dispatch company in paper or PDF files to their own format. The problem is that it takes a huge amount of time to develop. In addition, many jobs in the manufacturing and construction industries are on-site, and due to the working environment, attendance records (time cards/time sheets) are still often stamped and managed on paper.
“eas” has previously supported multiple digitization of attendance information such as time cards, but in order to meet even more needs, we have launched a new service specializing in reading attendance sheets. AI-OCR reads items specific to attendance records (time cards/time sheets) and converts them into text. If there are any parts that cannot be read by AI-OCR, the operator will correct and input the correct text. There is no need to set reading patterns or definitions, and different layouts can be accommodated.
