CHEERS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tomoko Shirai) is a company that provides career education for elementary, junior high, and high school students with the mission of “creating fair opportunities for children to take on challenges through cooperation with all partners.” On Thursday, October 26, 2023, 150 second-year students from Kindai University Hiroshima Junior High School Higashihiroshima School in Hiroshima Prefecture held a completely new school trip program where they met a variety of companies and adults in Tokyo.

Rather than just going on a school trip to sightseeing spots, we provide children with life-changing encounters.
The purpose of this program is for middle school and high school students who come to Tokyo on a school trip to experience the diversity of Tokyo and develop their own way of life and career outlook.
In the past, school trips have generally been passive programs that visit various tourist spots, but this program focuses on meeting and interacting with people rather than places. We planned, produced, and implemented an unprecedented corporate exploration type school trip. [Image 2

In order to convey to children that there are many ways to make your dreams come true, we had people from six companies in six industries speak on stage.

“Are you excited about working in the future?” Increased by more than 30% A survey regarding career views was conducted before and after the program. As a result, “Are you excited about working in the future?” An increase of over 30% from 49.7% to 81.5%. Furthermore, in response to the question “How do you feel about choosing a career in the future?”, 25% of students answered in advance, “I have to work so I can’t help it/I’m not really looking forward to it.” Regardless, after the event, that percentage decreased to 10%, and the number of respondents who answered “I’m really looking forward to it” more than doubled.
