Metaverse clinic begins efficacy verification to open up future medical care ……
Real Virtual Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takeshi Kanaya), which provides a Metaverse that allows you to experience reality, offers Metaverse medical treatment as part of the Metaverse Job 100 Industry Challenge, which has been running since 2022. We are currently verifying the effectiveness of our facilities. In the previous effectiveness verification, we solicited ideas for Metaverse clinics from all over the country and held a review meeting led by Professor Tomoyuki Miyazaki of Yokohama City University’s Research and Industry-Academia Collaboration Promotion Center. In addition, we have been testing actual activities in multiple metaverse spaces that were gathered through a call for ideas.
In this initiative, we asked AstraZeneca K.K., a pharmaceutical company promoting the healthcare open innovation network “i2.JP,” to cover the costs and to communicate with regular clinics and online diagnosis using a web conferencing system. We will verify the differences and effects unique to the Metaverse. Please note that this effectiveness verification primarily measures communication within the metaverse and does not involve actual medical examinations.
