QVC Japan Co., Ltd. (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, CEO: Atsushi Ito, hereinafter referred to as “QVC”), a multi-platform mail order company focused on TV shopping, operates a BS4K channel as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. QVC Satellite Co., Ltd. (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director: Ishihara Takashi), a certified core broadcaster, has been approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications as of November 24, 2023 for
ultra-high-definition television broadcasting (4K) in the BS right-handed band. We are pleased to announce that we have been certified as a core broadcaster that conducts broadcasting. In addition, starting today, we will be implementing the automatic AI subtitle addition system, which began operation on December 15th last year, to be 24 hours a day.
