MOT Annual 2023 Synergy, between creation and generation
The MOT Annual, held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, began in 1999 and is a series of group exhibitions that capture aspects of contemporary art, centering on the works of young artists, and spark questions and discussions. This exhibition, now in its 19th year, will feature “creation” through artists’ imaginations and handicrafts, as well as automatic displays that seem to reflect the state of NFTs, artificial intelligence, artificial life, life science, etc., which have been attracting social attention in recent years. We will consider the relationship between “generation” and the “generation” that occurs in the natural world.
