The Tokyo Metropolitan Government publishes a public information magazine, “Kōsei Tokyo”, on the 1st of every month to convey information necessary for Tokyo government and the daily lives of Tokyo residents. The December issue features “Care Prevention and Frailty Prevention” under the theme of “Health and Longevity.” (Frailty is a condition in which muscle strength and cognitive function decline with age, resulting in a high risk of requiring nursing care.)
In addition to a frailty risk self-check and a dementia awareness checklist that allow you to easily understand your current situation, it also includes information on social events to support seniors in living healthy and fulfilling lives through hobbies.
