Kansai University will hold the “Machi FUN Festival 2023”, an event that connects the community and the university, on December 10th (Sunday) at the Senriyama Campus.

This event, which aims to be a “university open to the community,” is in its 7th year this year. It attracts 7,000 people every year and is becoming established as an annual event in the region. The activities range from various sports and cultural experiences to science shows and children’s store manager projects. This year’s new project is the “GOTO Kandai Expo,” a special project where you can experience the charm of Osaka’s small, medium, and startup companies through experiences such as programming a self-driving racing car, personal color diagnosis, and a children’s sewing machine experience using yarn. . Other activities include a mystery-solving event, a
picture-story show by the picture-story showman Gan-chan, mobile sales of sweets at Hankyu Department Store, making misanga coin cases using non-standard baseball gloves, making key chains using materials unsuitable for bats, and collaborating with local governments. It is full of events that parents and children can enjoy, including exhibits by the University Neighborhood Association.
