(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yuji Kusunoki, hereinafter referred to as “Rakuten Securities”) will begin accepting orders for foreign exchange (real-time exchange) transactions from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023. We would like to inform you that we will waive the “US dollar/yen” exchange fee.
Rakuten Securities will reduce the “US dollar/yen” exchange fee for foreign exchange (real-time exchange) transactions to free, the lowest level in the industry (*), starting from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023. As a result, you will be able to lower costs and build assets using US dollar-denominated products, such as trading US stocks as well as US dollar-denominated bonds. Especially when it comes to investing in US stocks, we also offer a “Transaction Fee Points Program” where you can earn “Rakuten Points” worth 1-2% of the transaction fees you pay. This will create an environment where you can invest in US stocks without worrying about costs.
