Dive Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kiyoshi Shoko; hereinafter referred to as Dive), which operates a staffing and introduction business to approximately 4,600 lodging facilities nationwide, will open a business on the beach in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. We conducted a beach cleanup as part of our environmental conservation activities. A total of 26 people participated in this activity, including staff working part-time at the resort, local employees, and people working at accommodation facilities in Okinawa.

Dive established the “SDGs Promotion Project” in July 2022 in order to achieve long-term growth and contribute to solving social issues. Based on the vision and mission of “towards a world where everyone can love their own life” and “creating that day that lasts a lifetime,” this project flexibly responds to changes in the business environment and addresses social issues. We place importance on achieving both solutions and economic value.
We recently conducted an “environmental conservation activity” on a beach in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, to deepen our relationship with the local community. In addition to staff who work part-time at the resort at Dive, participants include locally employed people and people working at accommodation facilities in Okinawa.
In addition, after the beach cleanup activity, a social gathering was held for participants. At the networking event, we had people who moved to Okinawa through resort part-time work speak on the “charm of resort part-time jobs” and “reasons for moving to Okinawa.” Dive will continue to contribute to regional revitalization by solving the labor shortage in the local lodging and tourism industry through resort part-time work, and by promoting the creation and expansion of the related population through long-term stays.

▼There was more trash than I expected. I want to cherish Okinawa’s beautiful ocean, so I decided to do some personal beach cleanup activities on a regular basis.
