The Higashizakura/Izumi Area Management Study Group (Secretariat: NTT Urban Development Corporation, Nagoya Institute of Technology Ito Laboratory) will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 as part of the promotion of the appeal of the Higashizakura/Izumi area, the center of Nagoya. As part of this event, we will be holding a party bike tour to enjoy the city and will be distributing city maps.

The Higashizakura/Izumi Area Management Study Group has launched the “TOWER CITY CLUB”, which will disseminate information, discover attractions, and plan to enjoy sightseeing around the city centering on the Higashizakura/Izumi area, the central city of Nagoya. . This time, as the first stage of the project, we will be holding a tour (advance application possible, free of charge) to tour the same area on party bikes. At the same time, we will publish a city map (free paper) that introduces the Higashizakura/Izumi area, encouraging people to explore the city from a variety of perspectives and increasing the appeal of the area.

■What is a party bike?
The Party Bike is a 9-seater electrically assisted bicycle modeled after the European beer bike, with the concept of “a fun vehicle that can be ridden by a large number of people.” You can easily move it around just like pedaling a bicycle, so you can relax and enjoy a chat or a drink while enjoying the scenery of the Higashizakura/Izumi area. Why not make new discoveries, such as roads you don’t usually take or shops you pass by?
