In FY2020, Akune City’s hometown tax payment recorded the highest rate of growth in hometown tax payments among local governments in Kagoshima Prefecture! In order to further enhance our return gifts, we have added more than 600 new items since 2021!

In recent years, Akune City (Mayor: Yoshimasa Nishihira) has further expanded the range of return gifts for hometown tax donations, and has added more than 600 return gifts since FY2021.
The amount of hometown tax donations exceeded 500 million yen in FY2020, and the year-on-year growth rate was the highest among local governments in Kagoshima Prefecture. (Only Akune City has a growth rate of more than double)
Akune City is currently gaining more and more attention in Kagoshima Prefecture, a popular area for hometown tax donations.
