2023-Heartfelt Christmas-” will be held from December 1st to 25th! In addition to Christmas decorations decorating the village, there will also be limited restaurant menus and sweets, as well as a 30th anniversary event for the opening of the “Mori no Merry-Go-Round”! ……
Yamanashi/Moegi Mura Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Uetsugu Funagi, 3545 Kiyosato, Takane-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture) will be offering the “Moegi Village Co., Ltd.” Village Christmas Month 2023” will be held.
We are waiting for you with decorations that take advantage of nature’s blessings, as well as limited menus and events that will heighten the Christmas spirit.
Furthermore, this year marks the 30th anniversary since the
merry-go-round was installed in Moegi Village! To commemorate this, we will also be holding a slightly special night event “Night
Merry-Go-Round”!

The whole village is dressed up for Christmas
The grounds of Moegi Village will be decorated with Christmas decorations. More than 50 reindeer made from natural wood and an original Moegi Village tree with a height of approximately 5.4m will appear! All decorations are handmade by our staff, making use of the blessings of nature. We will create a Christmas atmosphere while appreciating the great nature of Yatsugatake.

《Mori no Merry-Go-Round 30th Anniversary! 》Special event “Night Merry-Go-Round” held
An American-made merry-go-round that came to Moegi Village in 1993. To commemorate our 30th anniversary, we will be holding a slightly special night event, “Night Merry-Go-Round.”
A special ROCK kitchen car will be set up in the merry-go-round area. Let’s celebrate our 30th anniversary together around the bonfire with delicious food and hot drinks!
Those who ride the merry-go-round during the event will receive a Christmas present only for this day (limited quantity).

A tourist complex located at an altitude of 1,200m and located on a site of approximately 30,000 tsubo surrounded by the great nature of Mt. Yatsugatake. Moegi Village was established in 1977 after being inspired by American author Henry D. Thoreau’s famous book “Walden”, which describes the coexistence of humans and nature.
Starting with ROCK, Kiyosato’s first coffee shop, it has since expanded to include a classic hotel surrounded by trees, a music box museum with valuable automatic musical instruments, a merry-go-round in the forest, and MOEGI, the completely pesticide-free Natural Gardens. We have played a leading role in tourism and culture. This is a place where the original appearance of Mt. Yatsugatake remains strongly imbued with the spirit of Dr. Paul Rush, the father of Kiyosato development.
