◆Overview
This is a meeting to read the magazine “Aisei” published by Nagashima Aiseien, a sanatorium for Hansen’s disease in Nagashima, Setouchi. “Aisei” was first published in 1931, and since the war it has been edited by residents. Several issues are produced each year, and they contain many unique words from residents.
This time, we will be bringing to you a collection of back issues that were gathered at the cafe Sazanami House in the park. Pick up the design of the booklet or the table of contents of each issue that interests you, and read it at your own pace.
There’s no need to think that it seems difficult. I’m sure it will be a fun meeting.
