, which was proposed at Okayama University and operated in collaboration with the Okayama Prefectural Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, Okayama Prefecture, and Okayama University, has been approved by the Children and Families Agency, Cabinet Office Received the highest award in the Special Missions Minister's Commendation.
A major reason for this award is that the number of child abuse consultations, which are on the rise nationwide, has been suppressed since the start of the Okayama Model. Reasons for selection included the fact that the project is carried out in collaboration with other organizations, and that it trains human resources and disseminates information throughout the country.
On November 8th, an online lecture to commemorate the award was held nationwide, and on November 9th, the award ceremony was held at the ``Healthy Parents and Children 21 National Convention'' held in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. ◆Overview

The Okayama Prefecture Obstetrics and Gynecology Society’s
“Prevention of Abuse Using the Okayama Model” won the top prize at the “Cabinet Office Special Missions Minister’s Award” in Healthy Parents and Children 21. At the 23rd Healthy Parents and Children 21 National Convention, we received a shield-shaped trophy from Minister Ayuko Kato. At the Nakatsuka Laboratory, we have started a recurrent education program for midwives, “Mother and Child Support from Pregnancy”, which is a training program to develop immediate skills, and many researchers and students are conducting research on reproduction and gender.
