Born June 26, 1981 in Tokyo. During his high school days, he participated in the summer Koshien tournament at Seibo Gakuen (Saitama). Joined the Hanshin Tigers in the free draft in 2003. In 2017, he became the 50th player in history to reach 2,000 hits. In 2018, he reached his 2000th game appearance. He transferred to Chiba Lotte in 2020 and retired from active duty in 2021. He is currently active in multiple fields as a baseball commentator, baseball critic, talent, and actor, and is also appearing in the TBS drama “Gekokujo Kyuji.”
Ryota Imanari (RYOTA・IMANARI)

Born October 6, 1987, from Saitama Prefecture. In 2006, he joined Nippon-Ham from the prestigious baseball team Urawa Gakuin, and in 2012 he transferred to the Hanshin Tigers. During his playing days, he was a utility player who could play multiple positions, and was also known for his skillful batting. Retired from active duty in 2018. Currently active as a businessman. He works to promote baseball as the owner and coach of DA Academy Nishinomiya School. She also appears on ABC’s “Good Morning Asahi”.
