Bvlgari will make two exciting announcements at the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals 2023 to be held in Barcelona. The Bvlgari Aluminum Gran Turismo Limited Edition, a stunningly iconic timepiece that reinterprets the watch in a dynamic gaming dimension, and the Bvlgari Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo, a spectacular concept car designed for Gran Turismo racing. This is a full-size exhibition.
In 1998, Bulgari reinvented the concept of luxury watches with the Bvlgari Aluminum, a genre-defying “Italian sports chic” timepiece. This visionary watch is still recognized as a design icon to this day, winning the Red Dot Design Award for Best of the Best in 2023. Using aluminum and rubber, materials inspired by the automobile industry, and an innovative design that expresses the Bvlgari character with graphic lines, “Bulgari Aluminum” continues to be an authentic watch that captivates people through the ages.
Now, 25 years after its creation, this iconic watch has been injected with energy and adrenaline. Bvlgari and the famous real-life driving simulator Gran Turismo have teamed up in the name of precision and innovation. At the same time, 2023 will also be the 10th anniversary of Vision Gran Turismo, which asks the world’s leading car
manufacturers to create their ideal cars using the Gran Turismo software. This was a unique opportunity to announce two models: the “Bvlgari Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo,” the first and only concept car for a watch brand designed specifically for Gran Turismo, and the chronograph watch “Bvlgari Aluminum Gran Turismo Limited Edition.” This concept car looks incredibly realistic even in the virtual world, giving us a glimpse of what it will look like on real circuits in the not-too-distant future.

“Bvlgari Aluminum Gran Turismo Limited Model”
This timepiece expresses the world of Gran Turismo through the attractive and bold character of Bvlgari aluminum. While remaining sleek and cool, the bright yellow color is inspired by the dashboard dials of legendary Italian Gran Turismo cars from the 1990s. The set includes a sturdy and lightweight aluminum case and a soft rubber bezel with the word “BVLGARI” engraved on it. The fusion of sporty and innovative materials can also be seen in the rubber bracelet, which features aluminum links. The crown and caseback are made of durable, lightweight, high-tech titanium with a black DLC coating and are engraved with the Vision Gran Turismo logo commemorating the 10th anniversary.
The “Bvlgari Aluminum Gran Turismo Limited Model” will be available in two collections: a limited edition of 500 pieces with a yellow dial and black counter, and a limited edition of 1,200 pieces with anthracite dial and yellow indexes. For the first time since the 2020 collection, which featured an automatic movement, it features a tachymeter scale, paying homage to the world of speed. Designed, developed and produced by the Bvlgari Manufacture, the automatic chronograph caliber B381 is the perfect movement for timing thrilling races.
