Universal Studios Japan will hold Universal Cool Japan 2024, an event that brings together Japan’s world-class entertainment brands, which are extremely popular every year, from March 1, 2024 (Friday) to June 30, 2024. The event will be held for a limited time until Sunday, August 14, 2024 (“My Hero Academia” will run until Wednesday, August 14, 2024).
Next spring, we will be collaborating for the first time with “My Hero Academia,” which is extremely popular not only in Japan but also around the world. In addition, the powerful brand “Detective Conan,” which has garnered huge support from past “Universal Cool Japan” events and has excited fans, will also appear. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the release of the Monster Hunter game, a new collaborative restaurant called Monster Hunter: Selena’s Dining Hall will be released. “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne XR WALK”, which received a guest satisfaction rating of 98%*1, is also back. We will deliver an immersive experience that is more shocking and more realistic than you can imagine, allowing you to step into the world of Japan’s most popular brands.

Universal Cool Japan 2024
“My Hero Academia” is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha), and the comic series has a cumulative circulation of over 85 million copies worldwide, and will reach its 10th anniversary in 2024, gaining support from all over the world. This is an anime work based on the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi. In this first collaboration, we will offer an ultra-exciting experience where you can feel the fierce battle between heroes and enemies (villains) and the “individuality” of the heroes in an ultra-realistic way, recreated with the overwhelming scale and quality of Universal Studios Japan. Each time “Detective Conan World” has been held, guests have been able to step into the world of the work and provide an authentic mystery-solving experience in which guests can challenge themselves with their own feet and brains. This time, it has been decided that it will be linked with the latest movie version, “1 Million Dollar Michishi Star”, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, April 12th next year. “Monster Hunter” will hold the “Monster Hunter USJ Festival” for a limited time to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the series’ release. The VR attraction “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne XR WALK”, which has achieved the highest guest satisfaction rate ever of 98%*1 among the many “Monster Hunter” attractions that have been implemented at the park, is back. In addition, a restaurant “Monster Hunter ~ Selena’s Restaurant ~” that realistically reproduces the world of the game will open.
