Now more than ever, the level of maturity of the human spirit is being questioned to match advances in science and technology. In academics, instruction is required according to the curriculum, but I feel that it is never too early to learn about life. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to hear from everyone at PDnavi and Mr. Kawagoe from the MECP2 Duplication Syndrome Patient Family Association, and learned about the intractable disease area, which is hard to know but is more familiar than you might think. I would like to take the first step. We hope that this learning experience will give students an opportunity to realize the preciousness of life and to seriously face each individual life.
