The Barneys New York window display is a staple of the holiday season. Based on each year’s holiday theme, the window displays we create are created with a special message that will brighten the hearts of those who view them.
For the 2023 holiday season, the theme is “ChatBNY generate love:ai”, which was inspired by the AI chat service “Chat GPT” provided by “OpenAI”, and each store will have a unique human sense that AI does not have. The four emotional keywords “Heart,” “Heat,” “Humor,” and “Humanity” are expressed through each character.
“ChatBNY” is expressed not only through window displays but also through various in-store displays, providing a platform where you can enjoy communicating with loved ones during the holiday season. [Image 1
Heart

When you look through the glasses installed on the glass surface of the window display, you will be greeted by Hearty Heart, the image character of Heart, created by a Nebuta maker in Aomori. Thanks to the Holospec film mechanism, heart-shaped illuminations gently envelop the inside of the window display, transporting passersby into a
heartwarming and fantastical world. In addition, “Hearty Heart” will appear as various items during the holiday period. Please also take a look inside the store.
Heat

The “Heat” window display depicts a warm and heartwarming world. In addition to viewing from a distance, come closer to the window display and listen. It’s sure to give you a nostalgic feel and make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Please spend a wonderful and heartwarming time with the image character “Rockin Barba”.
Humor

The “Humor” window display, decorated with pastel gradation colors, expresses a mystical utopia. We will also use a facial recognition system to provide an experiential platform.
If you approach the camera installed in the window display from outside, you may hear a somewhat cynical and hilarious message from the image character, “Saint Humor”.
Humanity

Gifts for loved ones are an essential part of the holiday season. The time we spend imagining and thinking about the other person’s smile is the moment when we most reflect our humanity. The “Humanity” window display expresses the idea of sending your thoughts to those important people.
In-store display provides services to convey your feelings to your loved ones. “Poppo Postman”, the image character of “Humanity”, will surely convey your thoughts.
